Gurudwara Shri Sohiana Sahib Patshahi Nauvin, Sohiana

GURUDWARA SHRI SOHIANA SAHIB is situated in Village Sohiana, Distt Barnala. SHRI GURU TEGBAHADUR SAHIB JI came here from Handyaya via Dhaula. GURU SAHIB stoped here outside the village Sohiana. GURU SAHIB tied his horse with a Kareer and Jand tree. Kareer tree is till preserved in the Gurudwara Sahib. GURU SAHIB spent afternoon here. GURU SAHIB asked people about village name, and people told it was Sohiwal or Mohiwal. GURU SAHIB uttered "na sohi na mohi, eh hosi thehi thehi. ethe hosi mirgaa di thehi" After some time this village was ruined by Ahamad Shah Abdalis attacks.
