Gurudwara Shri Tibbi Sahib, Jaito

GURUDWARA SHRI TIBBI SAHIB, GANGSAR JAITO is situated in the Jaiot town of Distt Faridkot. GURUDWARA SAHIB situated on the Jaito-Kotkapura Road marks the Place where SHRI GURU GOBIND SINGH JI stayed. When GURU SAHIB asked Bhai Kapura for his fort to fight agains t the Mughal Army, he refused to support and give his fort. GURU SAHIB came here to jaito. Here GURU SAHIB got his tent pitched on Tibbi (A Small Hil Top). Here GURU SAHIB made singhs to practice for the Arrow shootings.
In the evening GURU SAHIB went to the place where GURUDWARA SHRI GANGSAR SAHIB is situated and took rest. There was water shortage in the Malwa area at that time. There was water resourses near (GURUDWARA) Tibbi Sahib, but there was little pond near (GURUDWARA) SHRI GANGSAR SAHIB. GURU SAHIB used to go to GANGSAR SAHIB for any type of water requirement. Bhai Ram Singh, Bhai Sher Singh, Bhai Partap Singh and Bhai Sant Singh took the service of digging well at this place for GURU SAHIB. They also arranged for SARBH LOH Nishan Sahib. SARABH LOH nishan Sahib and Khooh are present till date.
