Gurudwara Shri Pipli Sahib, Bilga

GURUDWARA SHRI PIPLI SAHIB, is situated in Village Bilga Distt Jalandhar. SHRI GURU ARJAN DEV JI came here while going to get married. While going to Mao Sahib to get marraied with Mata Ganga Ji. Along with GURU SAHIB was Bhai Gurdas Ji, Sai Mian Meer Ji, Baba Sang Ji, Baba Budha Ji, Baba Chajo Ji and Bhai Manj Ji. GURU SAHIB stayed here for two Nights. Local Sangat served GURU SAHIB with great devotion. In those days
Bilga was restricted to seven Jhugis. GURU SAHIB blessed Bilga and now it has spread into a big village. GURU SAHIB used to meditate under pipla tree and hence this place was known as Gurudwara Sri Pipal Sahib.
